Yes. They are pretty for about a week then ugly after that. Next spring I'll do the other side I think.

Weeping cherry looks great now too.

I'm letting it grow a little wild then going to train the wild limbs to weep. The previous owner of the house didn't really have it pruned correctly. Another season or two and I will get it full looking again.

Thanks! That 10 years of running a landscaping crew paid off.

My body isn't used to all this digging though. When I was 18-24 I could do this after drinking til 3am the night before. Now I'm shot and I didn't even party. Lol

@BruceSki were not too far off from the landscape aspect. Bought this place two years ago and the inside looked like the outside. So we redid everything on the inside and its 10000 x better. Now we're working on the outside.

Here it was today when I got home. Like I said it's still a work in progress but it's getting better!

Started by moving these friendly fellows over to the corner of the yard to serve as a natural sound barrier.
All ages swimming lessons starting at 7 am. This is also another small garden area for the wife. Fenced off to keep out the monsters.

Then on to the side flower bed. Jammed this part out in a little over 2 hrs after work tonight.

@BruceSki Yeah, they're 3516 gen sets. I work on a ship, diesel electric power plant, 660 volt. 2 controllable pitch bow thrusters, 2 variable frequency drive azimuths, and 2 ROV/submarines rated to 10000' for subsea work. Oh yeah, and they keep the lights on and hot water flowing...
