I'll have to say I am a parts person and I learned from the zztop guys. The counters guys that where I started in parts were old enough to be my granddad. I taught them how to use the computers and they taught me how to use a paper parts catalog to find parts for a red belly ford or a trailer axle by dimensions rather and year make and model. I'm sad to say that two of those men have passed on now. I hope that the knowledge they shared with me I am able teach/beat into the next generation. The last thing is... Know what you want/need before you ever walk in the door at an Auto Zone, Advanced, O'Reillys or Napa. You may get lucky and find an Old Guy that knows his stuff behind the counter. However chances are you will get the kind that slept during math class and shop class both so really no help at all.

Btw she deals in semi tractors now and the drivers and the techs etc.. And there all afraid of her. They think I'm ten foot tall and bulletproof to have such a wife. If they only knew I was a 5'6 125 man they probably be more scared of me.

It's been a broken B-Pipe week at the PFM shop... Head pipe fixed. Welded up bolt holes on two manifolds and drilled fresh holes with heli coils. Ready for action again!

We had to to go to the second funeral this week tonight. But he would have wanted us to celebrate his life with great music and a good time so we did after. I got more tore up then I thought I would but he was a huge musical influence when I was growing as a musician and if I couldnt buy or pay for the equipment we needed to do s gig he would just give it to me. A great man and is really missed. Rest in peace Barry James.

It has both but I just went with the basic settings rather than tailoring them to match the material. It's just a piece of scrap 2x4 and done in my first hour of actual using this machine.

So much to learn yet!

The wizards are meant for metal. I should have a much different toolpath to match to run with the grain of the wood. Either that or my spindle upgrade so I can turn 8000 rpm.
