I spent 2 hrs this morning trying to build a basic saw box for cutting porcelain tiles. I just about had it wrapped up when my neighbor saunters over and offers up that he bought one off Craigslist the day before for $50 and I was more than welcome to borrow it.

This is how OCD does tile!!

I finished cutting out several planks the day before and setting in new ones so this thing is coming together nicely.

No. Maybe I’ll try that next time. I heard brake cleaner is very bad to use. Deadly.

Glad I’m not the only one working on house projects over the holidays. Here’s a peak at how I spent my New Years Eve.

I’ll give it 24hrs to set up before I grout so New Years Day will be spent reworking Turtle Island. We are adding a water slide and a high diving board.

Well I wrapped up my holiday project this afternoon.

Finished grout this morning and then routed the speaker wires in the walls so I could get rid of the cords.

Not bad for my first tile job!

Eventually we want to redo our entire master bath but that’s gonna be a big job with the floor, garden tub and full walk in shower. Plus we want to delete the tub at the same time.

My wife wanted to go tile shopping for it this morning. I just walked away and went out to the garage.
