Mock it up in the hull before you have it coated. You might need to cut or grind something to get it to fit, or scratch it in the process of figuring out how you want it set up.

Buy a cheap used oven cheap. Maybe you can find one with a good oven and bad coils on the stove for pennies. Don't bake powder coat in a oven you eat from. That is just foolish.

Im hoping they are going to be spraying something black and see if I can have them throw it in for a decent price. but if its just too much I will just engine block paint the pipe

haha i thought it added a nice flavor, but powder coating is not as difficult as it seems, youd probly be sleeping on the couch a couple nights if you use your kitchen oven.

Just got my engine in the mail tonight!!! It is great except the shippers bent my intake studs strait up. I put straitened them out and put my carbs and ffp on.

That's a sweet setup. I know it will fit if you modify the pipe, but consider modifying the hull so she'll fit like that. You might be able to get it in there with a bubble added into the hull, but I have not tried, so be sure to do a lot of measuring before you actually cut the hull to fit the pipe.

Yeah I think today or tomorrow I will take it down there and see if I can bubble the hull other wise I have the westcoast manifold sitting at my shop but would need to be bored and I am not quite sure how I would do it properly? I would like to stay all factory so I will see what I can come up with!

thank you

now i just need to repaint the short block and pipe, any one have some ideas on color? the ski will be whited out except rails will be baby blue, grips will be lime green, finger throttle will be orange, billet kill switch will be pink. and in the inside as far as i know fuel lines will be blue. i just cant deside on color for pipe and engine. I want the engine to accent the polished pieces like manifold and head si it needs to be darker. then the pipe will be first thing most see on the in side so it needs to be bright maybe a bright pink pipe will look good? or it that too much pink? help would be great???

sorry i ment everything on the out side will be white minus the other colors i listed. i have white and baby blue turf coming so have decide where what color will go

White motor i am guessing would be a mess! i think a silver motor would be the best but i think a color would be the coolest!

it would be very sweet buti would need to pull the motor out every few days to keep it clean. i was thinking a slightly lighter than stock silver or a good brighter purple

someone had a build where they, i think polished intake, flywheel cover, and exhaust mani and then dusted it with a nice lime green, it looked sick. looked like chrome with a green tint, tint is a bad descriptive word but it looked really nice.

I like it the way it is. Black block and pipe, red top carbs and pipe mount, silver head and misc random silver here and there. I like it. Leave it be? I like simple. I don't like bright colors or lots of different ones. I like simple like black with chrome or blue with black. Your ski. Sounds like you like more pop than I do. I can't help much.
