Worst/Best MOD youve done

Worst... Not quite sure yet. I do a ton of researching before spending my coin....

Best: Shortening my hull, very closely followed by Tubbie-II's.

Worst: Front exhaust, very closely followed by 2-1/2 in Home Depot Valve.

I have remedied both of those (worst)

Worst SXR mod: tie Wet Wolf cone & billet hood latch, go with the ratchet my friend!

Best SJ mod: MSD Enhancer, really made the pump hook up!
Worst SJ mod: hoping not to find out

The general consensus is to spend the money on getting your nozzle bored....everyone seems to get worse performance using the cone AND a bored nozzle

WORST:im not gonna say its my worst mod....maybe just because its my most recent and only mod ive done since modding the crap out of my ski over the winter?... but does it feel as good as a pipe???... i dont know yet...

TBM flywheel and kawi style couplers that are supposedly lighter than stock..... i cant feel the difference... maybe i was expecting more





BEST MODS:shortened pole, footholds, b pipe, prop, head. in that order

everything else doesnt really matter compared to these

and the bored nozzle.

I have even ran both at the same time.

and plan to do so again in the near future.

they are just two more tuning variables that you can toss into the mix to make the boat perform as you want it to.

i have run this on two skiis and i feel it works nicely... not neccesarilly with a very low end prop though

IMO you must get:
1) Scupper
2) Footholds
3) Reinforce hull

For freestyle riding...

everything else just adds more fun...
