Without this site i would just be another kid on a 650sx. This site made me get a sj and come out and ride in the waves. We have a pretty big group of riders here in Michigan (poor as our state is) and i never would have gotten involved with them if it wasn't for this site. It was nice talking with oyu darin at daytona...another event i would know nothing about if it wasn't for this site. I would like to donate to the site.

I think selling the site to someone that has the intention of making money would be a bad thing. I go to another site that if you mention a product that is not an advertiser the thread gets locked. I could see selling the site being a good thing if it was sold to people that do it because they love the sport.

With that being said, I have tried to stay out of the drama lately on this board because I know and deal with people on both sides. I will say this. Their are two reasons as I see it on why the dyno thing gets brought back up alot. One would be the typical troll thing. They do it to get a reaction (and they do) would be the first reason. The second would be because it keeps getting swept under the rug. I have seen threads bashing other companies and people that are not owners never get locked or cleaned up. I also find it funny that alot of the people up in arms about the "drama" are people that I have seen in the thick of dramatic threads on this board and others in the past. On the same token alot of people bashing LPW were on the other side previously. It is alot like high school cliques. The preps are cooler than the jocks and the heads are coller than the preps.

I guess its all about passion. Some people are more passionate about certain topics than others and visa versa. I for one find the dyno jokes entertaining but would they keep me from using LPW for anything? No they would not. I have always took peoples OPPINIONS with a grain of salt on the net. I personally have a long list of different vendors and builders I use. I have never put all my eggs in one basket. And being as though I have never PERSONALLY had bad dealings with LPW they are still on my list. I think everybodies head is way to big on both sides and actually think thier OPPINION is valued more than it is. Sorry but I had to get that out.

I know you aren't going to believe me - but nothing has been swept under the rug WRT to Pete/Paul (at least I don't think it has)

only a few posts were deleted, and only because Pete went way over the top with the profanity and insults.

The thread was locked after 440+ responses. So you can't say that there was not a chance for anyone to respond.

Locking a thread to me is sweeping it under the rug. If people cant be recpectful in their post they deserve to be banned but locking the thread keeps it from being at the top anymore. Their have also been other issues other than just the latest instance. Like I said I see both sides as being wrong. And actually none of my thoughts are directed toward you penguin you have seemed to remain pretty unbiased.

now that's way more fun then banning especially when you look at what that user is looking at lol

as for revenue get a adsense account from google they pay very well and you can have it blend in ith the forums in a non intrusive way
