The one positive about the segmented turf was zero manipulation, heating or stretching was necessary for doing the foot holds. Pattern control let me wrap the irregular shape of the holds all the way around the hold.

Everything you see so far is from ONE sheet of waffle. I was getting scared so I bought another sheet, figured repairs should be easy to patch in, so it won't go to waste. This is all I had left of the first sheet...

...and I still have to make a hood pad ! Let's see if we can get it ! I get my 4 inch Hydroturf block out , and I find this. Hand ground it square with my 48"belt aluminum sanding plate.

So no problem , I'm good at making tank straps, (not by choice). I'll just use the Righetti! Nothing like swimming for shore, almost being there, and turning around to swim to the far side.

Next problem was mounting the waterbox. Think of the PowerFactor exhaust as a U shape while the Bun is a V shape. I had to rotate the V upwards to get it to fit to my satisfaction. Which meant mounting the Bun box up.

The one positive about the way I mounted the Bun box, no Powerfactor mounts were harmed! So I know either setup will fit this hull.

I actually really like the way the visual on the hull looks and I think the turf looks great with it. Really a great idea and makes sense for repairs or fixing worn sections of turf.

This is really impressive stuff Mike, thanks for sharing!!!
