i couldnt agree more. i want to like them and what they stand for, but the fact that they are so outspoken about in order to support it you need to think everything gasoline is EVIL is a little much. hard to swallow for me. i just get annoyed.
oh it can totally BE done...i just dont think at the stage its at it will be cost effective AT ALL. nor the performance they claim.

it REALLY helps to have vise grip needle nose so you can manipulate the pliars with one hand and the latch with the other without having to try to keep the barrel from spinning. once you get it semi straight just pull on it. it will straighten up as it comes through like i said. they bend pretty...
its a pain. i used needle nose vise grips on the bend over connected half to hold it from spinning and then using another set of needles i bent the open end back straight as i could and just tugged on the vise grips. it straightened it out as i pulled it through the hole.

yes, i agree with being able to hear the noises going on around you, and because of that im not going to wear it anytime im riding anything besides surf. in the surf its so loud with the ski and the water i dont think i could hear anything anyway.
