You could also have AIR in the lines...I couldnt get the fuel to flow after putting the SN together after the winter . I took the fuel pickup off the tank and put it back together, bam it worked. Good luck.

It's hard for me to tell you the difference between 650 and701. I havent ridden a 650 for a long time. I picked up this SN and it had a bad motor, so I put a 701 in it.

I have a westcoast head on my 701 motor in my sn, I hvent heard any clicking sounds from my motor.

Is your fitting pressed or screwed in?

Supertune-- This is a great idea, however the fitting that screws into the head needs to be 1/8th or 3/16th and the smallest one I could find was 1/4. The screw that is used as a cap on the head right now is a metric size. Thanks

Yes, I did try that I took the screw to the hardware store and the smallest fitting was a 1/4" to a 1/8" nipple. The person that had the motor before had a aftermarket pipe and they had used two big cooling lines. Thanks though.

Hull bottom finished Here are some pics of the hull bottom. It is finished as it's going to get for this go around-painted, polished and waxed. I've finally figured out how this paint goes on best and went back to the foam roller which really laid it down nice.

So I've gotten a few more coats of paint on the hull and a one coat on the hood since I started this thread. Since the paint is diluted by mineral spirits it takes alot of coats of paint to see some good results. It certainly is testing my patience. Be sure you have some before attempting this...

That make sense now. When I visited Blowsion, they told me the biggest things to do were intake grate, ride plate and impeller. Then spend on engine mods. dont remember them saying anything about the hood. All those guys put bilge systems in anyway, especially since they ride in the ocean all...
