Funny how badly these things beat you up. I could hardly function the day after the first ride of this season. It's great knowing you got a work out in though!
Recently. Took them apart and everything looked pretty fresh, looks like it was done with the freshening of the engine. Wouldn't mind upgrading if someone had a nice set laying around for a good price.
Recently finished my SN build. Having a few issues but confused on whether it is in need of a carb adjustment or a new waterbox.
The engine is as follows:
705 bore on a 61x cylinder block
ADA 35 cc head (~180 PSI)
Factory Mod B-pipe
Stock 38 62t carbs
- Needle/seat 1.5

Ran another compression test with an old school tester and I am getting 170-175. Might be the gauges then. Going to buy a reliable gauge first thing tomorrow to make sure. What a pain.
Running a 701 bored to a ~705 with an ADA girdled head (35cc, supposed to be around 185 PSI) and a factory mod b-pipe. Just did a compression test and I am reading 150 PSI per cylinder. Using 91 octane with a 40:1 oil mixture.
My carb settings are:
Needle/seat: 1.5

Anybody going? The weather is saying 4 footers for Sunday. Not huge but it should definitely be fun. Plus the air show is always sweet. Tossing them in at Portage Marina.
