What's the advantage to the aluminum tube ? Is it lighter than the rubber? I don't think it gets that hot after the waterbox. I've been running the Tdr powerspray in my sxr 1100 dry all season last year with no problem ... It would look cool tho and you could probably get rid of the support...

I found a 650 drive shaft laying around in some of my dad's old ski parts, com paired it to an sxr driveshaft . Looks like it is 3" shorter than sxr, anyone ran this setup in there sxr? Guess you would have to move the motor mounts rearward, are there any other mods nessesary to run a 650 shaft...

I had a 750 sxi pro a few years back that had grey turf with a slight texture to it, really soft stuff, seemed like it would be great when the ski was on the trailer and dry.. Dang, didn't know water could get in that area, I thought it was sealed off and foamed... Do you have a smaller exhaust flange on yours?, it doesn't look like there would be enough room for a plug there

Sounds to me like you've been talking to several 1100 gurus this whole time, type in "sxr 1100" in on google and it will bring up a bunch of threads on this site and pwctoday, theses threads will answer every question you could ever have...

No I have never rode any aftermarket hulls.. I live in sw Oklahoma and I'm one of only a handful of guys that ride around here.. Would love to but I think I would need a plane ticket before I could get the chance to ride one.
