    New NOCO Lithium Batteries

I've been running an NLP14 for about two months now in freshwater. Excellent battery. I have never once even thought about it since I installed it. I just press the button and it spins the motor with ease, every time. Granted it is just a 701 but it's nice to be consistent, light, and well packaged.

    Market correction on ski prices?

Not gonna argue but I think people just give up on them too easily. My LR3 was SCRAPPED because it needed... two front air shocks and a transmission solenoid. Since I fixed that I've put 10k on it over 8 months and had no more issues. That's an LR3 though, I unfortunately wouldn't touch anything...

    Market correction on ski prices?

The Rover V8 was basically just a Buick nailhead. This one has the "new" V8 jaguar engine. 300/300 NA V8.

    Market correction on ski prices?

I love my 20 year old Land Rover! They get a terrible rep for reliability but ask the actual owners and you'll get a totally different story. Not to say I haven't had to work on it, but I wouldn't say the work I did is out of the ordinary for any 20 year old vehicle.

    Market correction on ski prices?

Cars are ridiculous rn, I don't know how anybody affords them without just pedaling the hamster wheel of debt.

550sx to 750 "All or Nothing" build

Looks excellent as always. Looking forward to seeing it finished. I can't wait to fix my ski up properly over winter. I've been sort of half assing things to get as much ride time in possible, then I'm gonna come back through and finish it up properly in winter.

    Market correction on ski prices?

Would be nice if we could just answer the question without dragging politics into it immediately. I've seen stock ski prices come down in the last 6 mos, but that depends on what you're after. Regarding built AM skis I just don't think there's the market to bring the price down. Everything is...

    Mixing Gas

This seems like a helluva lot of work to mix two very soluble fluids.

    Mixing Gas

Yes, no, maybe, only on Tuesdays.

    Mixing Gas

I pour the oil in first, then fill it with fuel and let that do the mixing for me. I never shake it doing that. Oil is soluble in petroleum so it wants to mix. A few quick shakes would be fine. You're just helping it.

What did you wrench on today?

Does it count? I ripped my ski today and blew the exhaust coupler so I wrenched on that?

    Times be changing....

I did. I got bored of the bullpoop and wanted to find people who enjoyed riding not just telling everybody how much incorrect stuff they knew or how much money they spent on their ski.

    Question for the ski retirees

These are cool but I can't shake the feeling it would be a one day affair. You take it out, do a few turns, WFO run, and then.. well what else. It's like all the impracticality of a ski combined with the inconveniences and linearity of a boat.

What did you wrench on today?

I did boring busy work on my ski. Rushing to get out, hoping I have enough 5200 to carry me through the season before I can do the proper glasswork come November. She's rougb but she's a solid ski! And no, I don't know what the adjustable was for.

    Question for the ski retirees

The man that got me into standups was 67 at the time. Married his daughter, two years later he said "hey come to the lake try this" and stuck me on a JS550 with a Coffman Sizzler. Went through a JS440, 550/750 swap, Superjet and then a WDK ROK in the following 18 months. His daughter has nobody...

Want to Buy WTB Tank for WDK ROK (3-4 GAL)

I need a proper tank for my WDK ROK. Let me know what you have out there. I like the JAS / H2O designs but I don't know if they still sell.

Trim Cable stuck in thru hull tube...

I had to knock it out with a rod, in doing that I took the whole thru hull tube with it. I patched with 5200 and I used one of my spares. Come winter I'll probably upsize my tubes to 1/2" ID. The bend in the tube fouled the trim cable fitting on the end. I think if it was 1/2"and not 3/8" it...

Trim Cable stuck in thru hull tube...

Strange one. Fitting my trim cable, ran it through one of my thru hull tubes, no problem. Decided to use a different one for pump waterline clearance, so I go to pull it bscn thru the hull and now it's stuck. I can't move it back or forth. It's well and truly stuck in there. I've tried...
