    trued/welded cranks debate

I would imagine, that the difference between the "good" cranks suppliers, and the "bottom end" crank suppliers, is at the "good" ones, the answer to that questions is "yes". Part of the reason the customer pays the higher price, for the higher quality crank to begin with.

WB1 rear exhaust (Updated with install pics)

When installing a rear exhaust, does the outlet need to be below the water line? Are there advantages to it being above or below the water line?

Where to send E-box to get rev limiter raised?

I have been giving serious thought to getting my rev limiter back. When I launched off a wav, I was not always 100% on top of the throttle, and it would race. But then, I had to be real careful, as I had removed the throttle screw from the carb, and had to not let off to much throttle or it...

    Zip tie blaster kill switch

The blaster stop/start switch is the exact same as the SJ, so it would work the exact same. Only difference, like was pointed out in the first responce, would be that the unguided missle would be larger in the case of the Blaster.

    Dual carb 61x

I think that covers everything. I am not sure as to the correct jets, but I do remember all the specs everyone asked me to list, when I was asking for help with mine. I think you listed everything that is needed to make a recomendation at this point. I will try to point a couple jetting guys...

You say usual mods... What pipe? What head? What size domes? All these affect jet sizes.

So... did I make the right choice...?

At the start of last season, I had 96 Seadoo GTI, and traded it and a little cash, for 2 B1s and a double trailer. I am pretty much w/o any doubts this was the right way to go. :woot: So, with 2 B1s, I thought I was sitting kinda pretty, and was satisfied with my pair of B1s. Now over...

    lowering 61x port timing

So if you have a cyl marked 62t, with pistons marked 64x, it has been bored out? Or had new sleeves installed? The sleeves in mine are larger in DIA than the 701 sleeves. Is the difference only in transfer port angle, or is there some other difference, as in an actual 64x mark on the 760...

Bad news if you were planning on buying a new b-pipe for your blaster this season...

Can you expand on that a bit? What are "p-diddy bolts"? I have 1 of the 3 out, but the other tops of the other two are really trashed. I have new bolts, just do nto know how to get the old ones out, w/o trashing the original threadings.

Ok, quick question, is there a 64x 760 cyl as well as a 62t? Are there any major differences?

    Moding a 61x case for a 760 cyl

I have a 61x case and a 760 cly. The sleaves of the 760 cyl do not fit in the 61x case. Can I simply grind down the one side of the case so the sleaves fit, or do I need to get a machine shop to grind down both sides in a "bore" like manner. When I say grind down just one side, here are...

WaveDaze 2007 Coverage on Current TV!

I am pretty sure the date is not yet set. Last time it was Oct 6th and 7th, so will probably be around the same time this year. Hoping to get it earlier, but that depends a lot on what the city of VA Beach agrees to. Would love to have you! Last years event was awesome, hopefully...

Flatwater barrel roll on a SJ

I have a RIVA head w/ 35cc domes and a Factory B pipe for my SJ, so along with some footholds/straps, it seems that should be enough to learn the basics. Very cool!

Flatwater barrel roll on a SJ

I just picked up a SN SJ and was wondering how much BRAP is needed to do a flatwater barrel roll, or a barrel roll off a typical boat wake. Is a stock 701 w/ a B pipe enough BRAP? If not, how much more is needed? Not concerned with hull mods, or skill levels, just a basic opinion of what...
