It was good to see you back on the water again and riding with you Saturday. After talking Saturday evening i am glad its just a little swollen, does it still pop when you walk?
They put low air pressure in through the fire wall and mark the locations of the leaks. With the foam wet this is easy to do find it bobbles pretty good. Once this has been done they drill small holes in the back of the ski and hang from the nose and let it dry. While talking to them I was told...
PJ1 makes a pretty good epoxy paint in a rattle can they even have a clear coat. The clear coat holds up to gas good. My ski is ridden in the surf year around and has held up good so far.
dont have them on yet, I have adapter that came with them and will have a manifold soon. Since ill have to add another pulse line to my case im not sure when ill get them on. I dont want to remove my cylinder right now.
The surf was great in the morning started turning nasty around 11:30
The first Pic is at 9 in the morning the second is around 3 while we wee dragging the ski back.
Barry has a video posted on the other site of our first ride.
Actually we didn’t have any new people riding with us; everyone has been riding in the surf for at least 2 years. The tide had turned and was going out and the surf just got nasty. We had 4 people on the beach with running skis but no one helped beside Tim and me.
I think next time i ride in...
I just reinforced my engine compartment before the JK Ragger. Blowsion gave me small strands of Kevlar for use as filler. It worked out real good and sands pretty good also.
Suzi not sure what all they have checked/done but it sounds like you have water in your fuel filter. When you pull the throttle it sucks the water out of the fuel filter killing the ski.
