Good to hear it was the right choice. Like everyone else has said take advantage of internship offers early, even if they are unpaid. It will give you far more leverage in the long run!
I'm one of the fortunate ones with a 50/50 split of desk vs. hands on working on some pretty awesome...
I too was concerned about the weight/center of gravity difference... i run a 63m and never looked back. the triple gives insane power over the entire powerband. It takes a short while to get used to cornering as the ski wants to tip a bit more leaning in, but after 1 ride you wont look back...
From a first hand perspective I wish I did more to quiet mine down. I'm not running a dual but a TJ triple exit off of the right waterbox and it barks, leading to those exact stink eye looks your talking about.

this is a stand up thing to do kcr, thank you
I wouldn't expect it to be too heavy, just looks like slight wall reinforcement, but like all SJ's, Id bet my first born that it has some drenched foam
Welcome man! Nice hull you've got there, I was bidding against you and bowed out at the end because I couldn't get a reasonable shipping quote!
sounds like you've got the basics down, I would seriously consider looking into a mag pump from the start, it will really help in the chop if your a...
