Yea ur right they use a 64u head for big bore top ends... So with that said, is it cost effective to mill a 701 head to make about 185psi or go with an Ada?
Thinking about just copping a 64u head and have it milled instead of springing for an Ada. Would rather put money towards somthing else for my build. Any input? Ik group k recommends using a modified stock head and uses a stock style head gasket for superior sealing. I have a protec half girdle...
Used stuff is used just bc he found play in a piston doesn't mean he deliberately sold a motor he knew was shot..plus he fixed it!!.should of asked an engine builder to check it out before the purchase...even then there's things an engine builder would miss or not be able to find...buy a brand...

New couches are so much fun, 70 mph will give me a heart attack too......not
I use stainless t bolt clamps that are used on turbo cars, you can get them tighter then a regular hose clamp and they are super strong http://www.partssystems.com/100-stainless-steel-t-bolt-clamps.html
No you don't that's the whole point of using the sealer, you can do it right in the boat, just a temp fix gets you back in the water quick, might not work for every damaged midshaft housing...
