I had water coming from the thru hull fitting for the steering cable, dry the hull out, bring it down to the water and watch for water intrusion. First just let it sit,watch for water. If no water run it up against the dock under load

Try restricting the water going into the stinger/waterbox. FP does major testing so I would say jets and tuning should be pretty close to what they recommend

My blaster was doing something similar, prop was pretty beat up when I changed it with a new wear ring it made a world of difference
