Awesome ski and great guy, i have ridden this in person and big things coming from TigerCraft.

I have been kicking this idea around as well it would be a sweet project and it is possible in a RN hull, if a big ass yami 1200 can fit, a kawi 1100 is no prob, anything is possible.

I have been thinking about doing this for awhile also, i live near the channel islands and every calm day i think, man i could ride across there. great idea i will follow this more and see if i can scrounge up a superjet for the ride, my rickter would be out of the question for the long...

Get that pole and steering in the water, it will loose'in up a bit.

Rolled on with a finish roller and fine finish brushed areas where i could not roll. With gel coat you prep is very important because the gel coat will "go off" or start to harden unless you thin it with acetone so have everything ready to rock n roll for install.

If you don't mind limited colors for the bottom of your ski, gel coat is the only way to fly very strong and durable, i did it on my superjet and it held up great with beach rash.

I did the freeze heat method and worked perfect, been riding the pump every weekend for over a year and no issues. It was a pump bought new 5-6 years ago. Its all about the install for longevity.

stick with stock 38s, its a waste of $ to go to 44mm with a mod 701 you will get hardly any gain, just because you ad more fuel doesn't mean you ad more HP theres alot more to it to get the full advantage out of 44mm carbs on a 701. If you go to a punched out stroker 701 motor yes you will get...

Where i live we have the channel islands, i have always wanted to do the crossing, camp and then ride back in the morning, its a 20 mile one way 40 mile round trip it would be fun but no one is down to do it with me.
