The Rad dudes adapter is reverse... it allows a yamaha style exh manifold to bolt to a kawasaki motor.
I cleaned up the one yamanube sent me a little bit but still needs some pitting filled with jb weld at minimum in order to assure a clean gasket mating surface.
I mocked up a 701 and my kawi...
I own both kawasaki and yamaha stand ups and I have for the most part always been able to find information by making the effort to search for it. Even a simple google search will return hits to both forums. I would never direct somebody to another forum as they are both great resources, but I...
I had good turn out with the appliance epoxy. I think your issue is you sanded it too smooth. 400 grit seems high. I roughed the bottom of my hull up with 100 grit and sprayed with no primer. Still holding up great. Worked well in the bilge also.
The stock bilge is a syhon style and only displaces water when your moving.
Take the needed precautions for when things go bad cus eventually they will.
For example, without hood straps, you flop off a wave and the hood shifts sideways which it will as the superjet hood lip design isnt great...
you'll be fine on a stock superjet... do yourself a favor though and install at least one bilge pump, some type of hood strap setup, and front and rear tow loops. brapp!
disconnect from the steer nozzle and thru hull fitting by the pump.
disconnect from steering and handlepole.
pull out thru the engine compartment or up through the pole.
fishing it back through will be fun but doable
