To be clear the parts in question do not come with the hull, its a freebie thing which can lead to slacking.I think if you aren't going to get the extra stuff to the customer in a timely manner you shouldn't offer to throw said parts in for free.

I hear ya, but the tube isn't always dead centered itself so if you are centering your driveshaft in the middle of an off centered tube it's not going to work out so well...
As far as the pump goes, bolt the mid shaft first and look through the back of the ski to where the drive shaft needs to be. Then take out the mid shaft and make the pump line up where the mid shaft hole was... If that makes sense.
