Ya if your not chumming or spear fishing it is very hard to get bit although I've seen a couple guys with a torn up leg and ankle surfing .

I think swept bars are more comfortable for freeride/surf , it's like adding length to the pole .

Ya try 50s and going out to the water with my walker Ha ha ha , but dam that's how I feel some times , I'm sure the MX and other stuff doesn't help much either .
