I was looking at these for part of my winter mod list. Are a/m flame arresters actually beneficial on a basically stock engine that will be getting a b pipe installed?

Side note, if u have the stock bilge still installed and a 500 gph bilge installed under the opposite side of the drive shaft, where should I put the other bilge? Does it fit in front of the stock bilge? Sorry for the thread jack! Sent from Outer Space using Hopes and Dreams

Mine wasn't. You could tell they had a position to move it out but they closed up the whole and didn't thread it.

You've probably waited long enough come tomorrow. I turfed mine in the evening and went out the next day, no problems yet (2 months ago).

You must know nothing about government run health care up here. In short, its pretty awful. Anything more then a broken bone, cut requiring stitches, etc. you are looking at a long wait for the minimal services offered. There is a waiting list for everything - Detroit has more MRI's then Canada...

I'm using the shmitty modified steering setup for the 08+ sj's. I just replaced the chin pad with one of TOBY's carbon fiber chin pads. Fits great, but the stock bar clamps im using on the new turn plate are making contact with the chin pad. I tried to sand them down a bit but I'm still not...

I ordered turf from them to Canada and shipping wasn't very much at all. Shoot an email to them and ask what it would be. You don't have to pay duty on it either.

Alright, thanks. It looks like there is a metal tab holding the front of the nose cover down that won't just slide out but would need to be undone from inside the engine compartment. I'll take another look though.

I'm about to install a blowsion spring in my sj. I'm just wondering what the easiest way is to do this with regards to getting the nose cover off. Do you have to take the gas tank out to get the nose cover off? I don't think I can get the front bolts that hold the cover down off without doing...

The V500 attwoods don't exist anymore.. all they've got is the tsunamis and they are huge.

I don't consider myself a yuppie, but I like what I have spent a lot of money on to look good. If I broke my nose piece I would be looking for a replacement right away. How do you know his priorities are wrong?

Meh, I'm happy on the river, it's all i need. I love going out every time so I'm sorta glad I haven't been in the surf to possibly ruin flat like it has apparently for some of you guys. Plus, I feel like I would do some damage to my ski out there.. No reinforcement, stock engine, etc.

Nothing wrong with some good flat water.. but I've never been to surf. I have fun.
