the 2 ive seen in person were horrible( welding, fit and finish, one broke), yes its cheap but ive learned my lessons buying cheap parts for skis. search around on reviews on those poles.

don't get a PLD they are garbage. you can get an A X metal adjustable pole for 675. comes with the kawi bushings, chin pad and breather tubes and you reuse the stock bracket. The RRP doesn't include any of that and the cast version weighs a ton. They do look sexy though.

hard to say, we just had a big group ride that saw 30 plus skis for the second year in a row. Usually, were fairly well segregated. there are small groups of locals everywhere. Just post up and tell us where your from and how you ride and im sure you will find a group that best fits you.

well we have a lot of river riders in the Delmarva freeride group on facebook, tons of guys around glen burnie and east of Baltimore, a bunch of guys near Annapolis and more in the northern VA area. But theres guys spread out everywhere. there are a few of us that ride flat water skis...

you ride surf, and frequently, I've had impellers that looked fine, and barely measured out of spec that felt like crap, replaced with a new one and it was totally different.

your probably blowing through that stock impeller because its wasted, not because its the wrong pitch.

right I would change sprockets depending on the track I was riding but I didn't have to retune my motor. with the pumps, you have different intake grates that load the pump differently, you can adjust the spacing on the prop, you can change stator sections, overall pump diameter, different size...
