I received my Solas 148/74 pump stator and wear ring last Friday. Because this was the first pump received from Solas, Tom at Hot Products sent this pump stator and wear ring (not pictured) to Glen at Skat-Trak to have the critical dimensions measured for QA before sending it up to me and...
That's a Nu-jet.
You'll have to look at the hub of the impeller through the back side of the pump with a telescopic mirror and flashlight to find the specific model.
My guess is it's a YM-A5.0

The zirconia rolls work significantly better than the aluminum oxide rolls for rapid material removal.
Wet pipe made for the 650/6M6. Performance gains were comparable to the 650/6M6 Factory B pipe (smaller diameter chamber with "Factory Pipe" stamped on the chamber).
The water jacket shouldn't extend into the area. Are you sure you didn't just drill into a gas void/porosity in the casting?
If the manifold is not currently bolted to a cylinder, use a short section of hose to connect the two cooling inlet ports together to block them off and fill the water...
The only thing the Solas reps would say about the pricing on the 148mm is that it will be more than the 144mm. The 160mm pumps they've been casting for Riva are priced at just under $1000.00 for just the stator section, so the price could fall anywhere between their 144mm and 160mm.
One of the employees at the booth said they will be available sometime next spring, price is TBD.
The design (and weight) is very similar to their 144 stator and wear rings. They will be making a line of 148mm impellers that should be available around the same time next spring as well.
Had the price point been tipped in favor of either of the two other manufacturers mentioned in this thread, you would still find TPE motors in my RN and Freak.
