I don't have a B pipe. There is only one pipe adjustment screw, looks like KV applied what everyone has learned about the bottom and mid screws on the B, and I never claimed monster anything. I just need to get the thing as good as I can get it given my existing setup. Why so much agro?
FWIW: The large side exhaust opening on the 997 is about an inch and a half larger than the B pipe. The small end was bigger but I honestly dont remember by how much. We compared them side by side while we had them out in the garage. You can insert the bpipe into the KV.
Currently, the mid...
This is not the OP's issue but for the lurkers looking for a possible solution that do have the factory breadbox exhaust. This is the bolt I was talking about. These pics stolen from Alex Gower's FB ;)
And from Nick Kibuk "That is a bolt that holds one of the baffles inside the exhaust...
If you have the stock breadbox exhaust. There is a bolt that is prone to fall out. It is a glorified plug and is on a bottom corner of the square part of the exhaust closest to the front of the boat. Make sure that bieeach is not gone.
I found that when I flush cut my stock ride plate it was enough. You can try that first and then if you want more its no issue. To take a folgers type can ~8" and lay it half on there and cut away. The great news is a stock plate is cheap so if you effit up you're not out much $$$$. :)
Yes. If I recall correctly there is a small toolkit wrapped in a vinyl envelope-ish bag with some very basic tools. On my 14 I added a similar deal with a small pelican case for money and phone.
I am really hoping to hear about the reaper myself. I am stoked for you and I know the "Santa is Near" feeling you have right now. When you get it make a new thread with the unboxing and so forth. I know you can't wait to hear that rumble!
Pat from OZ came out replaced my Starter and sorted the fitment issue with new machined bushings for the bendix and proper shimming of the starter. Fitment is pretty ideal. Tuned my carbs a bit as well. CDI with software update would have taken place but TSA pooched my CDI breaking the LEDs...
I think that its good to keep sharing the issues. This will really help the next guy. We can benefit from each other's time spent. I know it's not ideal and frankly sux, but, we knew we were getting in on the bloody edge. I hope Krash feels the same way. I know its not great press but the...

House of Kolor - black sealer, orion silver, many coats of kandy purple, and the graphics. I am going to touch up the bottom and cover with some clear gelcoat. The HOK klear is hard as it can be but is no match for beach landings. lol
EDIT: I will also be adding the rail turf. I tried to...
fwiw: I have run about 6-7 tanks of gas through my 50cal rtp with the only engine issue being I ran out of gas twice. lol
The bilge outlet really is too low on the hull I'm sure that I will be moving it up this winter. I already replaced the ^%$R#$ flap scupper with @Ochocoronas versa plug...
