I have always wandered why performance gain was so hit or miss with enhancers. I had a guy tell me just the other day the same thing TNT said about the enhancers. Non of his tested units had the same curve. I'm curious to see what OCD comes up with.

If I had to do it again I would cut and weld a plate between the bed plate motor mount bolts then just redrill the motor mount hole. You could move the motor back a little by doing this and I think that would help the ski ride a little better. It would also require a shorter midshaft. Which...

Just did one last year. Great set up. What are you looking to use it for? The ski is a nose heavy ski. We used the Ada conversion brackets and dropped it in. Had to be the easiest swap ever.

What's all this fancy stuff^^^^. My local guy just bores then size hones and finish hones for a nice crosshatch. I do the chamfering and that keeps my price way down but what's the reason behind the 4 step process? Educate me.

It may be worth a call to msd. I have one of their units do that to me and they replaced it. It was worth my time to call and discuss it with them.

I have a set of oem 44 carbs. Thay are taper bored with flame arrestors. I can jet them to your specs. Pm me if your interested. I'll make you a good deal. I hate to see you damage your new motor. I don't think the 38s will work very good even if you could get them jetted right.
