I sell jetski junk. Craigslist used to be the place where I made all my sales. I've posted a few things on here and barely sold anything. Facebook market place and the various individual groups for skis is where it's at. I think this xh20 forum is dying more so than the jetski world. I haven't...
The rok is not a hull I would get for any reason. Better off with your sj. I rode a 5mm stroker rok one time and it sucked compared to my rn sj for even doing barrel rolls. Smashed thru the wake with that hideous flat nose
I don't bring $hit and if I break down I load up and go home. Last time out I kicked into a pos Bob hold and it broke and blew off. DONE on that ski. RRP steering came loose on the fake rickter but I did enough rolls n flip for the first ride of the season
Wetjet junk is basically Yamaha 701 61x crap unless you're talkinG wetjet duo 200 brute 440 or whatever tf that junk Was which I forget. If it's duo 300 or kraze it tales a yami 61x cdi. BFD.
The difference is the thickness of the 3 bolt flange that meets the manifold. Kawi is thicker and takes longer bolts. I've used kawi headpipes with yami manifolds but it makes for very tight clearance where the cutout on the manifold is to clear the coupler.
It's usually engraved on the inner hub what the pitch and cutback is but takes 2 seconds to spin the prop on and make sure it clears. I've found wrist pin washers in there for shimming purposes . Not sure the trailing edge needs to be right next to the stator veins. That makes for a smaller prop...
Any ski you don't want to end up in Davy Jones locker needs a retriever locator buoy. Kind of a pain in the ass to mount it but when it goes down, at least you can get it back. I sunk and lost a 30k superfreak in the Sacramento River and luckily I had a retriever on a tigercraft fv pro that TNT...
There a thread on how to cut it open and solder across to eliminate the limiter. Everything I've ever beat on had no limiter and that ain't why junk blows up
In my experience jetting doesn't need to be changed with AV gas. Oxygenated crap race gas is a different story. I've ran it a few times but didn't get any more power than AV gas gave me
Get on airnav.com. it'll have you punch in your zip code for airports near you. Then get on the phone and call and find out if you can walk in there and fill cans or drive in and fill drums. I was getting two 55 gallon drums full at 3.99 a gallon
Some 650 cylinders like the ones in the TS have threaded holes for the remote fuel pump to bolt to. Black motors are 86 thru 90. Silver motors are 91 thru 95. All 650s are 76mm standard bore. Silver motors Come with bigger carb and more compression. Not sure about different porting.
If you're not sealing your new batteries with liquid electrical tape , silicone or some similar sealant before you ever use it in a wet jetski carcass, your making a mistake. Get a new battery and waterproof it as best you can
