    Piranha rideplate and intake

Measure the width. Couch plates are wider. I have a stack of plates. Most AM hulls take SJ plates and grates unless some A hole made the junk so you had to buy theirs. Just like AM hulls needing SJ motor mounts. MAke the junk.to use couch mounts that are a dime a dozen.

    What Hone?

Neither one of those hones will true the surface. All they do is scratch it. The rougher the stone, the deeper the scratches. Magnified pix after ball hone shows a smoother surface if used after bore and stone hone. That meant less wear on break in so it was highly recommended. I learned that 45...

    What Hone?

I normally don't talk to vermin but I'll give you this. Don't ever ask me anything. I'll smash you if l ever get the opportunity. For all the shonet you've talked about me over the last 20 years . Know that if you know nothing else in your pathetic existence.

    What Hone?

Ball hone would be best just to break the glaze and those flex hones are total junk. Sunnen stone hone or cheaper similar hone is what I use when I have slight damage from losing a piston or siezure. I have a couple ball hones from my v8 motor building days and I use those. The ports yank...

    Anyone following Gary Brecka?

I watched him and his buddy's ages ago in the twangled vids? before I could do barrel rolls. Then he bought something from me on ebay. Talked to him a couple times by phone years ago. Saw him compete at WF on Malones pos EME micro. That's the extent of my knowledge

    Help to identify my superjet.

It's got an aftermarket lowered hood and nose piece on there. I've put quite a few 61x single carb motors in round nose hulls in past years. Lower HP than the 62t but it was a favorite for even pro surf riders ages ago.

    wth happened to hydroturf?

That gym or shop stuff that links together in 2x2 squares is what I've been using for under pad but it's very similar to some old thick aftermarket tray mats for 440 550 that I got. Gator grip was way better than hydro and had a huge selection of colors. Too bad it's long gone

Freestyle Thoughts on this 2014 XFS with 66e based engine

Yea I already told stu I thought it was a deal. Even a 701 rickter is a few grand more than that. Not sure exactly what that motor is but maybe a wdk 927. Not sure on pump either.

    Exhaust exit location.

Front exits on sj aren't in the water on plane and it's still got the rear to exit

    Exhaust exit location.

On x2 old racers changed the exit to farther forward and on the other side. Supposedly it being back and in the water affects handling and turning. I would think anything blowing out the side would have a tendency to push the ass end the other way.

    choosing an impeller??

Mag pump is not going to give you any additional thrust so if are riding the ski as a rec boat, it aids in directional stability at higher speeds. Doesn't add power. A lot of old straight blade props are excellent but I can't tell you what one you need. That's why everybody says expensive...

    Seadoo pump behind snowmobile engine

Seadoo splines and kawi splines are very close. I use a seadoo shaft to remove all my kawi props. Shaft is a hair looser in the prop snout and on the back side seadoo has a funky lip where kawi is just flat to fit against the spacer that the seal rides on. I'm sure a kawi prop could easily be...

    Thoughts on this purchase?

I sold a kind of beater 2000 hull with footholds pole and hood for 1500 a few years ago and a clean 08 hull and hood for 2k.
