I still have not been able to master the 180 or slide to flip, so I gave up on that and went to set up wake flips when I had my Footrocket. It took me a lot of tries and a lot of advice from people on here, but I finally got it. The advice in this thread helped me a lot...
I think the best way would be to contact Art on Facebook at E-Tech Superchargers or call him at the number on the website. He's pretty easy to get in touch with.
I don't think you'll need to paint the tubes. Did you see the pics of Kavanagh riding the rip on Facebook? There are no tubes showing the pole is so short. Great looking hull by the way, love the green and black ;)
That looks like the xmetal water box, the standard PFP box looks like it would fit your application better. The standard PFP box is just straight, like this:
I thought about doing this since I used the film on the nose and rails on my Footrocket, but @Superjetjim (I believe) said that he knew a guy that did and it peeled off and went through the pump.
I used the same stuff on my Footrocket, it's called 3M paint protection film, I bought mine on Amazon. It works great, I bounced my Footrocket off bottom a few times learning flips and there was not a scuff on the nose.

I can second that @speedysprocket is great to deal with. I gave him a reduction nozzle with a broken mounting tab when I saw him in Daytona and he welded it up good as new and shipped it back to me in a very timely manner.
I got to watch @badvinny tear it up a couple weeks ago. I swear he spent half the race on one tire. Pics and vids don't do it justice, if you ever get a chance to watch an ice race, do it!

Did a little cold water riding today, I'm loving this carbon pole more and more every time I look at it. Pictures don't do it justice, I feel like it really ties everything together, it belongs on this ski...
I rode surf for the first time ever at the Daytona Freeride and it felt like my ET1107 was too powerful. I got my butt kicked! I'm sure I could have got used to it, but for a surf virgin it was too much.
It's perfect for that kind of riding, I used to have a Matrix XF and it was perfect for the type of riding you mentioned, the PRO is supposed to be even more fun.
