Yes, post and switch are universal. MPEM and key are programmed together. You can test the switch and see if it works with a multimeter, but jumping it won't do any good if the key isn't programmed, because the switch sends a signal to the MPEM which in turn sends it to the solenoid...

The beepers are shot many times. One beep means the ski sees the key, but it's not programmed. Two beeps and key is programmed. None means you have a bad beeper, possibly bad key, bad DESS post, bad MPEM, bad battery, harness, ground, etc etc. Wish you were close to our shop, we have a full...

Are you sure the key is programmed? As said above, you should get some beeping regardless. One beep means it sees the key, but the key isn't programmed. Two beeps means the key is programmed. However, the beepers are burned out at least half the time... Good chance you have a key issue or DESS...

Yes it is. Stock 701 stroke is 68mm. Your common stroke increases are 5mm, 8mm, and 10mm, but there are others as well.

Dude, that's 40 tanks of premix a year...aka 1.66 tanks per weekend, every weekend, for 6 months of the year. That's a damn solid amount of riding, more than I can fit into my schedule!

The Blowsion 850 sleeve exhaust port height is lower than stock 760, it hangs down probably 2mm or so. Lots of porting and work to get it set up, but if you have the resources could potentially be a good setup.

Example: Cylinder porting, MSD Enhancer, ADA Head, V Force reeds, etc...

Ok. It is a good mod if money is no object, and is lighter than a stocker modded by Speedysprocket or Zero. It has a steel inner hub, so cracking in that area shouldn't be a problem. That being said, I think most would agree that money would be well spent on many other mods, unless you already...

Agreed, you probably have a bendix issue. I have clean, inspected OEM ones for $30 shipped. Also, if you end up having a starter issue, they can be removed without having to pull the exhaust manifold.

Send your stock flywheel to @speedysprocket and have it lightened for ~$65, and spend the other $585 on other mods :)

Would be a great time to upgrade to 62T cases and have them ported...much better flowing than 61X, and not much money in the scheme of things!

Looks like a 90-93 SN, or early VXR 650. All the small style housings are interchangeable.

I have had 61X cylinders come through here at 84mm, the sleeves are pretty thin, but seem to have held up okay.

Boyer, tip for using the electric mixer - add your water first, and tilt the mixer "bowl" as low as you can without spilling concrete out. Best of luck!
