More bearings = more load pressure.
Cages are just a waste of space and extra weight that's not needed IMO.
The cageless bearings are actually smaller in diameter and wider than the ones with cages.
They should make them for the big rod end too because they seem to fall out quite frequently.
Yes that's a stainless M10x1.25x30mm pump bolt.
You don't need a spacer for the 6R7, 6R8, or 61X reduction nozzles but you will need a spacer washer for the trim 62T & 65V reduction nozzles to fit in a pre 07 SJ hull.
You can only mill the stock heads around .015" deep before going into the squish band area and you would need to have the head milled twice as deep or more with the squish band angle recut. I strongly recommend machining the squish band angle & domes anyway along with the head milling because...

I agree try using a larger diameter taper bored reduction nozzle to increase the bottom end snap and a shorter pump cone if you want it the hook up to be less server.
I believe most of the Hooker impellers are cut back 7mm and if you happened to need a spacer to distance the blades further...
Your second picture of the two shorted WSM charge coils appears like they are the 61X type without the solder connections.
Any chance they gave you the wrong type charge coil for your 62T stator assembly?
So what was the actual failure problem with the stator and did they warranty it?
I would be curious to test the resistance specs of each coil and compare it with an oem stator.
Do you know what gauge the WSM or Caltric wires are and if they're using tin plated marine grade wire as on the...
Sometimes it's cheaper just to purchase a complete new one now rather than rebuilding them.

I would get a minty fresh used or a brand new WSM stator from JetManiac.
The stock Kawasaki SXR flywheel is 4.48-lbs and here are my lightened SXR flywheel weights.
Lightened Charging Flywheel Options:
Kawasaki SXR lightened 3.80-lbs
Kawasaki SXR lightened with ring gear and hub drilled 3.48-lbs
Lightened Non-Charging Total Loss Flywheel Options:

The stock Kawasaki SXR magnets weigh around 0.20-lbs each times four plus the plastic and stainless housing that holds them in which is around 0.88-lbs total weight removed.
The Yamaha flywheels need the magnets for the charge coil which powers the CDI unit so they can not be removed.
I would download the service manual here and start reading. http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/74013-Service-Manuals-–-Parts-Catalogs-–-Owners-Guides-–-Wiring-Diagrams-–-Software-etc&highlight=
