I traded it to jet manic. I sent both in and he rebuilt one anand gave me credit for the other. They both had the same marking on it. Like 63m . I wish I had it to try!!!!
Dang, looks nice. What did u end up using for the motor mounts? Not the inserts but the part you put them In.
I have seen plenty of aftermarket skis use resin like that for the motor mounts. Only recently am I really seeing billet mounts and such.
When I bought my midshaft it had the longer coupler like the one in the picture. Both ebay listings claim they are from the same ski...
Maybe I need the shorter version? Guess I'll order it up and see.
Threads are bottoming out, but the driveshaft is still 1/2" away from end of mid shaft. I may just have to machine that, and then the coupler as well.
Seems pretty normal to me. As a side note I finally got the ss nuts I ordered off ebay for the steering... apparently they came from HongKong...
I sent that one and one I had to JM to have rebuilt. They were the same number on them. I believe he rebuilt the other one I sent in and gave me a core credit for the other.
I dont have a gap, I just cant get ththe engine back far enough.
I have pressed the midshaft in as far as I can and am still 3-4mm away from being able to install any bolts into the motor mounts... wondering if I have the wrong midshaft. No markings on it of any kind, will have to measure and see. Is this how all of these builds go? Or just mine?
2 questions on my wdk pipe...
1- should it have a way to put water in it?????
2- on the shot of the inside of the pipe, does that need to be welded? Jeff said "no", but I'd like a 2nd opiniin from someone who has nothing on the line.
Got the pump dialed in. I spaced the pump shoe back 2 washers thickness and used 520p to glue it in.
Silly question, being I run x2s and dont have steering cables... the rip came with a steering cable but no little connector at either end to attach to the nozzle or the steering plate.
What do...
I have a JD version going in my WDK RIP right now. Lots of grinding and test fitting. I am not in love with how it fits. But I guess that is how they fit...
I had to grind to get it to sit lower in the hull and really take a lot of meat off the ears to fit the intake cavity.
