    ZIMMY Going BIG, Farewell Viper!

Ski is still missing at this point, Portuguese Police have notified everyone on the coast of the missing ski, so hopefully when it washes up we will get word, however I am not too optimistic based on the strength of the current and the size of the surf that there will be much left to salvage...

How do you haul your Jet Lift cart?

You win, I have been thinking about how to make this happen too. Looks like this is a good solution! As far as connecting it to the trailer, I plan on adding some bike rack style clamps so it is easy on, easy off.

    Best Trim lever for throw

IMO, the best style levers are going to be parallel to the bars when you pull trim, many bike levers dont allow for this as they arent designed to bottom out on the bars when you are on the brakes. Bending a mtb lever could work, but you cant beat the matching trim and throttle levers that FRI...

my custom ktm 525 "fat cat/big wheel"

I have a little BW80 because I love the look of the fat tires on the dirt bike, but what you have there, art work! Nice job man! That thing is sweet!

    scratch prevention

Build it, take it out on the first ride, run it up on the beach as far as you can, the rest of the scratches wont matter. We had a guy rhino line a ski in our group, I think it added quite a bit of weight. Wrap it from the bondline down maybe? the problem would be a small nick would likely end...

Did you guys see the new molded diamond turf colors?

I like molded for certain applications, its super tough (and of course hard to work with in some spots), but you can heat it way up and work it without the worry of it ripping like the cut turf.

    Viper Blaster

Nice pics Glen, Carter was ripping it up on the blue Viper, respect! Took it out for a spin, it was nice and light, felt great with the limited setup in it, Tom did a great job on the build!

Thrust Innovations Mini Billet Throttle Lever

I rode a ski with one of these this weekend at WaveDaze. I am pretty picky with my lever designs (to the extent of heating and bending them to my liking) and I have to say, I felt immediately comfortable with the one finger grip, great ergonomics, nice job Thrust!

    Surfriding X-Metal trim *cant pull*

Great point. I pull my cable out of the package and wrap it from end to end in an additional chaffe resistant sheath. Fuel line works well, but there other good options to keep the gray outer plastic from being stripped, its junk IMO, adding a better wrap is a must from the start if you want it...

    Surfriding X-Metal trim *cant pull*

Good point, we had this flipped on one of our older setups, but it most resulted in the nozzle turning when the trim was pulled, but I can see how this might be adding strain to the system as it pulling the nozzle down while the trim is pulling up.

    Surfriding X-Metal trim *cant pull*

Pull the pump and flip the stator section 180 degrees, should solve your issue, might have to pull the dowel pins.

    Surfriding X-Metal trim *cant pull*

Need to flip that steering connector to top side of the nozzle arm, rather than the bottom, this way the pivot will be at the same point as the bolt that the nozzle pivots on, although I don't think thats your issue. It is strange that it becomes that difficult, I ran one for a few years with...

    Rocker question

No necessarily true, it depends on how the rocker is designed. There are plenty of skis out there with plenty of rocker that will run fine at top speeds, it all depends on the transition into the main running length of the hull.
