Dang those before and after pics make me wonder what Yamaha was thinking with that hood in the first place! This is looking sooo good!

The nose piece transitions really well into the hood! It is nice and parallel too! Nice work! Will you eliminate the flange at the front so that it's just a lip?

I don't think they will ever lift. Just put a bead of marine sealer/silicone around the edge so that it makes good contact with the hull. I have destroyers. I just held them up to their proper mounting area, and used the mounting holes as a stencil to mark the hull where I needed to drill.

First time out EVER on a AM hull

I wonder if anyone has ever tied reinforcing their desired shoe with some sort of shape-able glue. For example, "Sugru" at the toe area might help? EDIT: how about spraying the toe area with that truck bed liner stuff? I've seen videos of some "indestructible" spray coating.

Req, maybe I am missing something, but how do you plan on fitting the motor in with the floor there? I was thinking you were going to make a bubble that protrudes into the existing tray to jam your foot under. You probably measured it all out. Just wondering. Don't forget about the Ebox placement!

    SUPER CHICKEN

Some of you may have heard the term Super Chicken. If you haven't, it is a nickname for Kawasaki's Sport Cruiser. Does anybody know how the term "Super Chicken" came to be? Here is the story I heard... One of the local race sanctions in New England held a class for the Sport Cruiser, which was...

    Super Jet Cavitation problem?

Yes. Maybe i have that term wrong... I have also heard “pisser” EDIT: I have edited my post (#29) to say "Bypass" anywhere that I had written "Stinger" before. I think I was using the term incorrectly.

Any mechanical engineers on here? Or engineers in general..

I graduated from University of New Haven in May 2017 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Like Jhucke said, I got in and out of school as fast as possible. I did not join any clubs, any societies, and I didn't have any outstanding academic accomplishments! BUT I got a job a few months before...

    Super Jet Cavitation problem?

Hi all! Now comes the time of year that I don't ride so all I can do is think about riding, and talk about riding. Well, I am fairly confident it was never a cavitation or "slipping" issue. Here is how I know. I was able to get a significant amount of low end pull by improving my motor's low end...
