Yea it was bugging me! Still pretty long.

Had to take the pump back out, pull the dowel pins, to flip the stator 180, to clear the steering., mounted the ride plate and trimmed a bit off

pump shoe epoxies in.

It's all coming back out of course, but yea going good. Getting all the parts and pieces around is the real work! I had three pole springs luckily, I was able too make one work, otherwise I would have been tied up there still.

Everything is going together good! Probably have to get a different waterbox rn fits to close to inserts. Will install pump shoe tomorrow. Still have to get ebox mounts too.

I use 3M 1, 2, 3 system. Meguiers is good too.

You won't regret the ws400, I have the HD with a 1.3.

Got the holes for the tubes cut and spring in.

Quality makes a difference for clears mainly, and matallics. Usually for color I run the fluid all the way open, and close the pattern just slightly. I spray water based for the last three years, it's thicker than solvent, you can hammer it on with out running it. Usually if it's not going on...

Also you have to draw the line with pressure some where. Clear is sprayed at the highest pressure of all the materials I spray, at 29-30 psi.

I have only sprayed gel coat a few times, and it was pretty peeled, I used a 1.8 gravity feed gun. Just like mentioned, with each coat you get more peel. So the answer may be a few coats at a time, allow cure sand repeat. I used to do body work then put 5 coats of primer on, it makes the surface...
