    My ski sounded fast... I didn't like the fit in a RN hull. Ended up with cut feet, padding, and a bpipe chamber rubbing the hull. when I changed motors I went to a stocker. Mine is for sale.

    the linked article, in my understanding, suggests that the carbs flow capabilities need to match the engines acceleration/rpm capabilities. But reading the partial throttle section make me wonder if there is something to be gained in the throttle mechanism.

    what is the quality that you look for that makes one carb "better" than another? Throat size? Ease of tuning? Torque curve? Max rpm? Or do certain fuel passage maps suit differnt engine pressures differently? .... How does a builder choose a carb to reccomonend? Familiarity? Location? Dealer...
