^ Keep an eye out and have the money ready to go to pick up the pipe you want, everyone says factory pipes are the best and I havent tried one but I would still agree from what I have heard/researched...you can tune factory pipes for whatever type of riding you want to do...I went with the R&D...

SX/SXi/SXi Pro Turf Question - 98 sxi pro

My kit came with 8mm on the bottom mat, but nothing on the side mats...sxipro02 said 5mm on the sides fits very well but I opted to not put padding on mine...mine is a race ski tho and dont plan on falling off close to the ski if I wipe out lol

SX/SXi/SXi Pro Turf Question - 98 sxi pro

Paint your ski before you turf, it will make it easier for you and the painter...but yes you dont want ANYTHING on the hull where you are turfing and that includes paint...so have the painter paint a little inside the tray but remember you will be sanding it so the turf sticks so he doesnt need...

    SX/SXi/SXi Pro West coast pipe

The westcoast exhaust is for a 650 because the exhaust goes forward to where a 650 waterbox would be....its waaaaaay over priced too, you will also need an aftermarket manifold for it...you could make it work if you find the westcoast U bend pipe but in the end it wouldnt be worth all the...

SX/SXi/SXi Pro My First Stand Up.

oh yeah I know what your talking about now...I would ask around but my thoughts would be chopped to the hull and weave on the outside? And your going to turf over those bolt heads anyhow, I believe they are for the pump..no worries..

    SX/SXi/SXi Pro 97superjet's 750R build

I removed the rails, sanded the hull and turfed right to the hull...I wouldnt turf over the rails... on the storage holes, I filled them with 4lb 2 part expanding foam from www.uscomposites.com then glassed over them with 4 layers of 6oz S glass, then sanded them and turfed over them too...

Nice, well you should be fine then...its one of those things you just have to do and learn as you go but let me know if you have any questions I can try to help...btw make sure when you get the kit to test fit everything to see how its going to fit together because my HT kit was uneven from side...

    SX/SXi/SXi Pro 97superjet's 750R build

I think the spring is a stock sxi? The pole is a aluminum -2 so its lighter than stock which is why it sits up a little higher, and yeah let me know if you need help turfing, watch the wamiltons videos on youtube...I went off those for most of this plus some experience from turfing my 650sx

Your turf looks good too! I found out I had to test fit every piece multiple times, cut then stretch the turf to meet where I wanted it to sit for it to turn out decent...thankfully I think the blue camo hides alot of my mistakes! haha
