I think the rangers are so dumb that I could tell them that I put a 4 stroke in it and they would believe it. Or that the motor is from a 2006 or newer ski that meets the epa standards. I really find the whole 2 stroke ban pretty silly, because it only applies to pwc, not boats.

Lake Mead haha. And we ride the river down by Laughlin. My neighbor has 5 acres there with his own launch ramp that we are welcome to use any time. We also go to havasu a lot because it's about a 2 hour drive.

I was going to do the hot knife thing, but I didn't think my boyfriends mom would appreciate me ruining her knife lol. I was using a sweated bread knife for a bit.

So I removed the motor, fuel tank, fuel lines, water lines, and basically everything else in the hull. I plan on cleaning the engine bay, even if it doesn't look that dirty it is always nice to work on clean things. And down the road if you potentially have a leak somewhere it'll be a lot easier...

Switching the waterbox to the rear and to a raider waterbox is suppose to give you more power on the bottom and midrange. When I get to that part I'll make sure to post a bunch of pictures so people can see how it's done.

Currently trying to remove the foam under the seat for the rear waterbox conversion. Any tips for removing this styrofoam easily?

I'm going to be racing this ski in the sport spec class which doesn't allow porting or compression being over 190 psi. The motor that came in the ski is ported and running 210 psi. Huge bummer cause I'm sure that motor rips!

If I remember right the inner width of the tray is 19". As for a size comparison difference, a 550 tray is 12" wide.

I think it's because the exhaust is on that side and water sits in it. That's the only conclusion I can come up with. Along with the battery.

We always use a steering wheel puller. Tighten it by hand and hit it really quick with an impact and it comes off no problem. If its really stubborn hit it with a hammer and a little heat and it pops right off.
