And strongly suggest never riding Ponce' Inlet alone, very dangerous fast moving tides like river rapids there at times. Tow rope and friend with quality parts ski preferred or don't go imo.

If you have carpal tunnel in your throttle hand forget about the single finger levers, I've tried it. Jet world did sell a 1/3 less tension throttle spring that I have used for years, it's excellent. Is Jetworld still in business?
Had this happen before and it was a partial break in ground wire right at the electrical box. This black wire runs from the stator plate and is bolted to the inside of the ebox. Your motor is searching for a ground through out the hull.
Hmmmmm interesting but " water resistant " not waterproof. Do you know anyone that used it going under water ?
I think clipped to vest is best option imo. I forget it's there...
I've noticed before on my -4.3 that the pump shoe area is pronounced/ prominent compared to a superjet so that if you were to drive it up on the shore (beach it ) it would be more susceptible to damage.
