I don't know about the epoxy.
what you could do is, do a small test on the inside of the plastic and see if it holds.
I figured you were planning on wrapping around, but then if it did come loose, it might,
you know, be like a loose cover.
Sounds interesting, I would think adhesion might be a problem. but you could rough up the plastic and give the carbon fiber something to grip to. or create it like a removable cover and then glue it on. I am sure many people still using the stock plastic would like to cover it up to cover old...

I think it took them about a week for them to ship mine.
I did a video review,
Awesome!
I thought that stuff in my internal filter looked like belly button lint. I wonder if it's fibers from the inside of the tanks at gas stations.
I was playing with my tester when i got it, using it on my riding lawnmower, and got shocked, it was not pleasant.
the dark, wet plugs indicate a spark problem. try to rig the tester so you can run the motor and watch the spark.
use tape or something.
If the spark tester is showing a strong spark while the motor is bogging, then I don't think your electrical system is the problem.
but, I see you said you used a lot of electric grease on your connections. I assume you mean dialectric grease. do a search on the internet and this is what you...
if you want to check your kill switch by disconnecting it, just turn your idle down so it will die when you let off the throttle.
if you can, run the motor to a point where is runs ok, kill it and see if the plugs are still wet. then get it to bog and do the same.
try lighting the wet plug end...
The problem could be many things. any part of the electrical system could cause the problem, A weak spark will allow the ski to run until the demand to burn fuel gets too high and then it fails. I have one of these,

It tests the voltage output of your ignition. my...
the way yamaha created the 760, was to take a 701, and bore the rear cylinder larger. so you have two carbs with different jetting. carb tuning on a modded 760 can be difficult. I would take your carbs apart and make sure you have the correct jets. spray wd40 through all the fuel passages to...
Stock settings are, low speed 1 3/4 + - 1/4, high speed 1/2 + - 1/4, jets, front carb, main 135, pilot 1.5, rear carb main,137.5, 1.5 pilot, according the my clymer manual. don't have a WB2, but that should get you going.
if your carb is starving for fuel, you can shut off for a minute and it will fire up and run right for a few minutes, because the carb has refilled with fuel. have you ever cleaned the little filter screen on the fuel pump side of your carb? that could be the problem. if you want to see if it's...
got an answer from factory pipe,
Hi Mark,
You are correct, 1-1/2 and 2-1/2. Please keep in mind that our recommendations are for the pipe on a stock ski, near sea level. You will need to adjust for any mods you have made or for elevation.
Thanks,
it's been a while since I rode down there, but we would launch at the public launch at the end of marina road, It has nice access to the pass. there is usually an underwater sand bar near the mouth of the pass that creates some nice swells. the sand moves all the time so I don't know what it...
I was wondering what everyone was using as exhaust hangers on thier yamaha's. the stock plastic ones break.
I have been replacing mine with a cutoff piece of 3/4" square aluminum tube with hole drilled in it for the rivet.
I just file it smooth and rivet it in.
I have a factory b pipe on my fx1 and was checking my carb adjustment. the instructions on factory pipe's website says 1 2 for high speed and 2 2 for low. I think it is really supposed to 1 1/2 high and 2 1/2 low. does anybody know? thanks.
