Yeah, I just remember riding one of Malones 1000cc skis with a 145 kiwi mag and It was INSANE!! So I'm sure the 144 mag can produce similar results....IF its not hampered by the pump tunnel

Sounds like the pump tunnel on the hull is the big limiting factor.......so I'm just going to have to focus on maximizing the performance of the 144 magnum pump. Anyone have experience with a 1000cc engine with a 144 mag pump? Any good?

i was looking at a used xs1000cc and i run a 144 mag. I think the 144 works well up to 1000cc which is why was looking at that cc range. What cc/power level do you need to go bigger on the pump?
