Prepreg carbon is worth the $$. The best combo would be vinyl ester bottom deck and a prepreg carbon top and hood. There is such a thing as too light!!! If this new hull is what it is rumored to be just a vinyl ester hull would be awesome

So........is there actually a new hull coming?? I hope so because when I was down in Daytona I saw pretty much everything out there and nothing grabbed my eye. Can't wait to see what he comes up with

Thanks for the additional information David. I had started the post to get some feedback on what impeller it was b/c I was a bit confused. For the reasons you mentioned above the 11/17 did not look like the 9/15's I have become familiar with and I recognize as a "Hooker" impeller. As I said...

I called impros to see what was up. I actually bought it new from them but didnt want to accuse them of anything. He told me that the blade length on the 11/17 is longer that the 9/15, that is why the cutting edge looks different. He also said that they are not polishing them b/c the company...

What pitch is that?

Is this a hooker impeller from impros or a c-75 skat. I only ask b/c I bought it as a Hooker.....but I don't think it is. It does not have that radial edge, is not polished at all and does not have any impros stampings on it.
