tried it here in Haiti. I was alot of fun. takes a few tries to get the hang of it and i would have liked having the throttle control in my hands!

Not sure if this is the same thing but the dielectric grease I use in the plug boots turns grey after a while. Always figured its just deposits from the plug tops contaminating the grease. I just clean it off and regrease when it looks dried out.

Light grease on starter splines and bendix gear. Not much or it'll fling off and serve no purpose but to make a mess inside your stator area. Manual calls for two stroke oil on threads of the flywheel bolt. Check you're crank seal for any obvious signs of failure. Careful not to loose the spring...

Yup. You will notice this the first time you put the glue onto the turf, it tends to absorb a good amount. A second coat on the turf is good insurance. I sanded both turf and ski with 60 grit, two coats of glue on turf, one coat on the ski. Used the heat gun the speed up the drying of the glue...

Turf it. Looks better imo. Might even be easier to source that small piece of turf than to find the oem plastic.

@quickmick I could prob make my own, but if you were selling these I'd buy one instead! That design should work on a round nose too.

Yup it's time to start thinking about tuning. Here is a link to the mikuni tuning manual. It should give you a good idea of how these carbs work and where to start for tuning. There are some good threads on here about carb tuning, pull up a comfy chair and read through some of them...

If its running right don't mess with it!! As I suspected you had cleaned up a bit, so we can't really tell much. Found this pic a while ago somewhere on here. Cant find the link to the original thread. This just gives you an idea of what poizen was talking about.

I agree with jd91. Better sacrifice padding under your feet to make it fit right. The more padding you have on the top the more comfortable those holds will feel.
