I love my XFR! You can't chase boats. Way too much body english to keep it flat.(with a short ride plate). Well I shouldn't say you can't but it is very tiring trying to get back to boat. Yes a bit heavy but that makes it easier to ride. I can flatwater back flip with a DASA 850, dry pipe...
Nice Job Phil.
Can't believe Brian is going to have a "Pretty" ski and a "big" motor....:)
Good for you Wilkey!!!!!!
I am bummed I won't be able to see you ride it this weekend. Make sure Fast Elements gets you on film!!!!!!
I have a XFR with a DASA 850 and a dry pipe. Yes it can be Flatwater Backfliped. But I does not rec. ride very well.
If you want to Flatwater back flip and go out for a cruise and explore, IMO you are going to need 2 hulls. The XFR is very unstable at speed and requires a lot of body...
No Paul....that thing went to the scrap bin. Stator, Flywheel, and bendix was the only parts saved. And they were mint!!! Oh I did save the cylinder after I used a big hammer to get the pistons out.
