I sprayed mine with gel coat. Buddy sprayed his with auto paint. The paint grabs the trailer bunks like hot glue. It's unbelievable how tacky it grabs. The gelcoat is hands down holding up better. And if your using an epoxy paint (2part mix?) I don't see why people wouldnt go with gelcoat...

Try making the plug gap a little smaller. If you have strong blue spark outside the engine, I find it hard to believe it's getting blown out by compression but it's a possibility. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Your def rich. Your plugs will probably never color at that setting. At least not on the outside rim at the bottom of the threads. Whatever color you would get is washed off by raw fuel. If bet money if you looked down the plug holes, the tips of your pistons are wet. It's exactly like mine...

Skidoo actually did cooled cases on there line of 800's. It was scraped after a year because the cooling caused too much of a difference in temp between the bearings and case clearances. That coupled with guys not knowing how to warm up a sled the right way, resulted it many many blown cranks...

It's soaked in on blaster now. I honestly believe it's galled and toast but will give it one more try. Also, as recommendation from a pipe fitter buddy that frequently deals and uses stainless equipment, nuts and bolts and such, said heat only makes it worse. Plus, once galling starts, it's shot...
