I've only driven through Fort Worth, but I've spent the last 3 months in San Antonio, and would make the move permanent if we didn't have family back in MI!

I have the last style big foot you posted. It works great, the winch is extremely useful for loading / unloading solo. It is less convenient to transport then some styles though.

So I picked up a GP760 a few months ago that had bad piston scoring after being run completely out of oil. The engine came apart ok, and I didn't see any corrosion in the cylinders or crankcases / crank. The crank it's self has very low hours, and was replaced just before it was run out of oil...
Yup, that's what I found as well. I kept the cases and carbs from my GP760, but the flywheel, stator and front cover I sold. I plan to build a 62T bottom / 61X top motor, with the 61X ebox setup out of my SN.

I didn't realize that the ski used a 144 pump, or desirable driveshaft, so I gave up trying to pry it out of the hull. Someone had installed it using what looked like 3m 5200, and I couldn't get it to budge.
I also left the title / hull intact and gave it to the salvage yard.

Heading down to San Antonio for work this September. I'll be in town from September until March. Any reason to bring my ski with, it's a big hassle to get it there, but if there's some decent riding around town, I can bring it.
