Ok. Just everyone calm down. Already pm'ed Josh. I wish him nothing but good fortune at Havasu. Looks like he's gonna have a good variety of motors in the hulls. Everything from mild to wild.
If someone owed me 2 grand, and I knew for a fact it was a legit debt, I would dump on every one of his posts I could possibly get my hands on.
But I don't think i'll ever be in that situation, so free shirts for a free test ride sounds great. what motor is going to be in the phantom?
cant go wrong with any of those setups. I had the xs1000 and it was power on tap anytime. I'm looking to get the TPE 1105 next. only downfall is it takes at least 60 days to build. because of the cylinder coating.
well I sold my xscream last month. so now im down to my SN. thing is I like to do hood tricks AND occasionally flip also. so I think its ideal to have two skiis. big power for flips( high dollar) and a clapped out square for the hood tricks. Perfect world.
I've been seeing a lot of these lately. Yamaha based engines with kawi 145mm pumps. is there an advantage with running a 145 vs a 144 or a 148? I see an obvious disadvantage of having to get special couplers or a special shaft to make this work. just curious.
i plan on building back my sj so I can do some buoy carving along with some wave jumping and freestyle. I would like to get something along the lines of a 10mm stroker motor like a TPE 1105 or a dasa 1100. can you still run these stroker motors WOT for a little buoy carving also? or are they...
1.set the stand in a sturdy part of the beach
2. approach the stand and make a turn and go back out toward the water
3. pin the throttle and run it up onto the stand at full throttle!!
4. make sure someone gets it on video.
