yes you'll be able to see the weave. you can scuff it up like that but as soon as the clear hits it, it will shine like a monkeys a$$ again. you can try it by scuffing it up like that and just wet it with water and you will see it. i did a carbon overlay on my hood with a metalic flake clear...
ya but... a yami motor in a kawi hull is extremelly nose light, cuz a yami motor sits farther back. which is great for flat water or someone under 180 lbs. i say try an xft hull. i rode one in virginia and fell in love and never got that same feeeling from the envy hull design. i might be wrong...

this is all very strange. i know my o ring does not have a perfect seal and my lord mounts are not perfectly straight and i never have issues and my ski runs great all the time 3 seasons with my dry pipe. i replaced the coupler last season cuz it was clearly on there for many many years and it...
do you have good mounts? what kind of clamps are you using? on a side note, if your going through a lot of couplers buy some by the foot from mcmaster carr.
