    What's the right pitch?

umm. that's a loaded question. so many variables. but if everything's stock i'd say hooker 9/15 for the most bottom end torque. BUT to get the best results, you will have to try a couple different impeller sizes.

    reeds

im running carbon reeds. I got a thread below this one asking anyone if they can identify them. so far no no luck. wish someone could tell me what kind of reeds they are. OP I wouldn't spend too much energy or money on reeds. just get some good petals and call it a day.

hooker or skat trat impeller ?

my limited RN came with a 14/19 Skat. I switched to a 9/15 hooker. and went with TL and 210psi compression. it seems to be too steep? is that the term? like it spins before hooking. maybe I should go back with the 14/19?

Case Porting & Epoxy - Opinions? (With Pics)

my 62t had ramps that were coming loose. I just peeled em out and im gonna leave em out. shouldn't notice a difference at all when in the water. From what I understand the more reputable builders such as judge will install screws from the bottom into the fingers so the epoxy will have something...

    superjet

there should be steady flow. the water is going somewhere. might be going inside your engine. I had that happen to me. but I had an after market head and the oring busted. check the spark plugs for any sign of water.

    superjet

if you don't have water coming out of the pisser, then that's the root of the problem. like others have said, that's causing your engine to overheat and if you're still using the temp sensor in the head, then its reducing power. you gotta figure out what causing the water problem. pull spark...

    Freestyle Bendix / Starter stripping

I'm surprised it doesn't have an initial start setting to take the timing out for a few revolutions until the engine starts like MSD does.

is one of my rods bent?

You can also tell by the wear pattern in the cylinder. Must have happened last season when my oring on the head went bad and I wasnt getting proper cooling. My pissers were sputtering and engine must have got hot. But after I fixed the oring, I did get quite a few more good rides out of it...
