I rode them in Daytona and it was tough on my back as well. I know I talked to you about a spring when I got my freak, I decided to try running the pole tight and I have to say I now love it. I tried riding a sprung pole the other day and it was comical.

Mine lasted less than a season. About a month after install my ski was breaking up all over the place. I chased my tail and it lead me to the coil. I had to close the gap on the plugs for it to keep up with my engine. The coil failed completely after less than one full season.

I have an xmetal -2 steering turn plate and straight bars for sale. Also will throw in blaster bars if you want. $130 Cold fusion turn plate, brand new, never installed. $120. I plan to bring them with me and would love to unload them if anyone is interested.

I wouldn't hesitate to put those hood hooks up where they belong. Looks like it's probably too far along now. Be sure to pad the pole a lot! I would suggest putting it on the hood itself. That's my .02, congrats and look forward to seeing it at Wavedaze.
